Nice Geneological tree! I have recently tried to make mine, My great-grand parents lived in Mogador, but then my grandparents moved to AGADIR.
My Great-grand parents names were Jacob Abisror (great grand father) and Meney Amar (great grand mother) and her sister was a midwife whose name was lala Rebecca Amar- who apparently helped a lot of babies in Mogador come into the world. If you know anything about them, let me know!!
My grand-parents then moved to Canada along with a lot of jews once the sultan died.
Too bad, Mogador sounds nicer, it doesnt have the cold winters of montreal!
Incidentally, does anyone have any information about how the jews of southern morrocco got into morrocco in the first place? because my grand father (who was from Fez) used to call my grandmother a nomad, since she was from the south!
